The SIFMA Foundation's Stock Market Game (SMG) has been proven to have a positive impact on educational outcomes. Students who participate in the SMG program have shown better attendance, increased engagement and participation in class, and higher test scores, leading to improved academic performance.

A study conducted by the American Institutes for Research further confirms the educational benefits of the SMG program. The study found that students who participated in the Stock Market Game not only achieved higher academic performance but also developed a stronger understanding of financial knowledge and developed good saving and investing habits.

In addition to the traditional SMG student team portfolios, the SMG mobile app provides students with an enhanced learning experience. This app serves as a second screen tool and syncs with standard SMG portfolios, offering features such as current Account Summary, Pending Transactions, Transaction Notes, and market news updates. It also allows teams to look up ticker symbols and enter trades, further enhancing their engagement.

It is important to note that this app can only be accessed by registered users participating in an active SMG session.
